Thank you for using our Video Player application (“App”).
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our App.

By installing and using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Our App is designed to function primarily offline. We do NOT collect, store, sell, or share any personally identifiable user data.

However, certain permissions are required to provide app functionality:

A) Device Media Access (Local Only)

The App may READ or ACCESS the following types of files from your device:

  • Videos

  • Audio/Music files

  • Images selected by you

Purpose:
To play videos/music, trim videos, convert video to MP3, clean duplicate files, show thumbnails, and manage secure folders.

Important:
We never upload, transfer, or store your media files on any server.
All processing is done completely offline on your device.

2. Permissions We Use & Why

Below are the permissions requested by the app and their purposes:

1. android.permission.INTERNET

  • Required for showing app content updates and limited ads.

  • We do not collect or transmit personal data.

2. android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS

  • Used to send playback notifications (play, pause, next).

  • Used for after-call screen alerts.

3. android.permission.READ_MEDIA_AUDIO

  • Allows the app to read and play audio/music files stored on your device.

4. android.permission.READ_MEDIA_VIDEO

  • Allows the app to read, play, trim, and convert video files.

5. android.permission.READ_MEDIA_VISUAL_USER_SELECTED

  • Allows access to only user-selected media for editing or converting features.

6. android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

(Used on older Android versions where new media permissions are not available.)

  • Allows reading local media files for playback and editing.

7. android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

(Used for saving trimmed videos, converted MP3s, and cleaned files.)

  • The app only writes files created by the user within the app.

8. android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE

  • Allows the app to run video/audio playback in the background.

9. android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK

  • Ensures uninterrupted playback while the app is minimized.

10. android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED

  • Used to restore background services (music playback or secure vault lock) after device restart.

11. android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE

  • Used only to detect incoming/outgoing call states for After Call Screen functionality.

  • We do not access phone number, contact list, call logs, or communication content.

12. android.permission.SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW

  • Required for the “After Call Screen” feature to quickly access tools like:

    • Video Player

    • MP3 Converter

    • Video Trimmer

    • Secure Folder

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

We DO NOT collect, store, or share:

  • Personal data

  • Photos or videos

  • Contact lists

  • Phone numbers

  • Call logs

  • Location data

  • Device IDs

  • IP address

  • Media library information

  • Advertising IDs (We do not store or link it)

4. Secure Folder / Video Vault

  • All locked videos/audio are stored locally on your device.

  • No files are uploaded to any server.

  • Password/PIN is encrypted and stored locally only.

5. Third-Party Services

The App may use:

  • Google AdMob (Ads)

  • Firebase Crashlytics (Crash reports only)
    These services may collect anonymous usage data as per their own privacy policies.
    We do not link any personal identity to these services.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Data Security

Although the App does not store user data externally, we apply:

  • Local encryption

  • Secure code practices

  • No remote database or cloud storage

All your files remain fully under your control.

8. Your Rights

You may:

  • Decline permissions

  • Disable notifications

  • Remove stored files

  • Uninstall the App anytime to stop all usage

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally.
Changes will be reflected with an updated "Effective Date."
